Of things and others is the 24th album (and a song) of Sylvie Vartan released in 1982 in LP 33 rpm, and in K7 audio by RCA. It's a fairly eclectic album mixing light songs (Super Sylvie, Surprise) and deep songs (Do not hang up, Mañana tomorrow).
Sylvie adapted in French the success that Survivor had the same year with the soundtrack of the film Rocky III; The Eye of the Tiger becomes Do Something.
After Love is Like a Cigarette, Michel Mallory tries to renew the success by offering The emergency exit. This first extract, although being the subject of an important promotion, will not repeat the exploit of the preceding one.
Sylvie will promote the songs The emergency exit, Do not hang up, Super Sylvie, Mañana tomorrow and Marathon woman during various television shows from June 82 to February 83.
The emergency exit and Do not hang up will be part of the "set-list" of the summer tour in 1982, while Mañana tomorrow and Le mot de passe will be sung on the stage of the Palais des congrès de Paris when it returns to school. Parisian at the end of 1983.
