Green Day
Green Day is an American punk rock band band formed in East Bay, California in 1987. They have sold over 70 million records worldwide. Green Day is credited—along with The Offspring and Rancid—for bringing punk rock back to the mainstream in the 1990s, and popularizing the pop punk genre. They gained mainstream popularity with their 1994 album Dookie.
