
Sir James Paul McCartney (18 June 1942-), former member of The Beatles, is a British singer, bassist, guitarist and drummer. He has won numerous awards. After the break up of The Beatles, he went on to form Wings, and wrote songs like Band on the Run and Live and Let Die. There is an urban legend that he died in 1966.
