Pink Floyd
has been known as the founding fathers of Progressive Rock music. They formed in London, England in 1965 with line-up, Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, and Bob Klose. They started out unsuccessfully until their eight album, "The Dark Side Of The Moon", which has gained a reputation of one of the best albums of all time. They dissolved in 1996.
