Sgt-pepper

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is an album by The Beatles. It was created by the band when they wanted to escape their mop-top image into something different. The idea was brought up in late 1966 by Paul McCartney while thinking about salt and pepper. The album was released on June 1, 1967 in Britain on Parlophone and on June 2, 1967 in the United States on Capitol. It is acknowledged by Rolling Stone magazine as the best album of all time.
