
The Offspring
The Offspring is an American punk rock band band formed in Orange County, California in 1984. They have sold over 40 million records worldwide, and along with Green Day and Rancid, the band is credited for bringing punk rock back to the mainstream in 1994, thus popularizing the subgenre pop punk. The Offspring's highly acclaimed third album, Smash, which contains their best-known hit "Come Out and Play", helped them reach mainstream popularity.
